Walking Club Update
JUNE 2001

UPDATES

May 2001 June 2001

June 1, 2001 11:30 am - The walking club walked today in number. They treked 1.4 miles in about 24 minutes. Thats about a total of 200 calories per walker. Thats a lot of cellulite. No new news to report. No injuries, no mishaps, not even that bird.

June 6, 2001 11:30 am - Charles Moran was almost plastered to the sidewalk today b a truck. Steadfasat and singleminded Charles plowed through the course. He was so sconsumed by his passion to shed those unwanted pounds that he failed to see the red light and the 18 wheeler. Deborah Seawell aka See Well grabbed Charles at the last second and saved him from a sure and messy death. Chuck Would have lost a lot of weight though.

June 6, 2001 11:30 am - I recently recieved an email froma concerned "fiance" We'll just call him Pete for now. The letter goes:
Hello,
You do not know me, however, I am intrigued by this walking log. Waineen Hagins is my fiance' and I hear everyday how hard her day has been because she is walking sooo much. However, upon reading your daily log, it seems to me that she has slacked somewhat. If it fits into your schedule, please after your walking, allow me the privilege of knowing whether or not my dear beloved bride (Waineen, of course) has remained faithful to her task.I appreciate your cooperation 100%.
Thank you,
Pete

Thank you Pete for your feedback. We really encourge people to wirite in. Waineen does have a tendency to,let say, exaggerate a little. She has been walking though and swears she'll fit into that dress. The walks are about 1.4 miles and they are completed in about 25 minutes.
In all fairness waineen does walk in the morning. She walks to the bathroom, walks downstairs, walks into work from her car, walks to the kitchen for coffee, walks up to her desk, walks down to bother us, and walks back upstairs.
So she is trying!!!

June 8, 2001 1:30 pm - Our poor dear Chuck has left us. He has moved to Ohio to start up the Ohio Chapter of the walking club. He along with his wife and mother in law will be walking.
WE MISS YOU CHUCK!!!
Updates will be forthcoming on the implimentation of the walking club in Ohio. Click here for an overview of OHIO.

June 13, 2001 11:00 am - Todays weather 92 degrees Humidity 100%. The walking club walked today minus a few people. Actually rumor has it that no one walked yesterday. The WebMaster Hears all and Sees all. Even those little short cuts Althea. Does heat make them lose weight faster. Next week we will have weight loss results by all our team members. Keep an eye out.

June 18, 2001 1:00 pm -
Today the website was officially index on the web. That means it is going public.

June 19, 2001 11:00 am - Yhis turning out to be a banner week. Aint no ne walking. Deborah and Althea went on vacation and noone seems to want to walk. I can just see the bouncing cellulite threatening to make the hips swell and the bellys droop. SHAME SHAME SHAME.

Maybe some words from our Ohio chapter may help inspire these lost lasses:

A message from Chalres:
It is Sunday morning and I just took a quick look at the Web page. I must tell you, it will be such a joy to follow up on your alls progress through our fabulous Web Page. Well, We were almost run run over by a Semi-Truck but we, Jennifer and I, made it out to Ohio just fine. It took a grouling 13 hours. I have managed to follow some regiment of exercise plan for the last three days. I have been squating, lifting, and reaching as I have packed and unpacked the moving truck. Those steps were a killer on the ole knees. I polished up my rigarous work out with 2 hours of volley ball with my family. Today, I am allowing my muscles to rest and rebuild themselves for Monday. Well, I must go for now. Thank you Sanje for creating a doorway to revist you all through the WEB, GOD BLESS! CHUCK
